Thank you for visiting my website. This site is designed to give you information about learning to fly in Tallahassee and my flight experience. I am the Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Eagle Aircraft and provide flight training services from Tallahassee Regional Airport (TLH), Florida. I have been a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) for 13 years, started flying when I was 17 and became a CFI, CFII and MEI at 18.

Flight Training for Private Pilot Certificates

A private pilot certificate, on average, takes about 55 hours of flight time depending on how often you fly. All my training material in the Download section for initial flight training is designed around the Cessna 172 SP models. Eagle Aircraft currently has two 172 SP models; N172RK which rents for $136 and N203LY which rents $146 per hour on the block rate. A deposit of $500 on your flight account at Eagle Aircraft is required to get the block rate. All rental rates include fuel. Flight instructor, ground instructor or pilot services are $45 per hour. All payments are made to Eagle Aircraft by cash, check or credit card. Financing for flight training is also available.
